| The death of Loretta Swit at 87 years of age takes me back to my halcyon days enjoying the fruits of life, mainly playing football and cricket very poorly but enjoyably. Watching weekly episodes of M.A.S.H. weekly was a must, and needless to say the character of Hot Lips was a main attraction. The best thing a Labour PM ever did for me and other young men was Harold Wilson refusing to send GB to join America in the war against the Viet Cong. |
