Noticed today that the local authority has plans to remove a tree on Grove Park Gardens - photos in attached links: https://ibb.co/Z6DcbDRF https://ibb.co/V0zf7sVM I think it's fair to say that Grove Park Gardens - along with many parts of Grove Park and the Chiswick wider area - very much enjoy(s) its/their trees. Not to mention the local fauna. Furthermore, in more recent times, the trees help to obscure from view many of the new constructions at Kew Bridge. Is there anything we are able to do to ensure long-term preservation of these trees? Surely there are more-optimum means of attending to tree root issues (i.e. a little adjustment, rather than removal of the entire tree). |
