It is rare for thieves to break into a car on the off chance of finding something valuable. They generally scan for bluetooth signals to see if there is any device hidden inside. Filippa mentions her card was in the bag. I'm not 100% sure but I think it is also possible to use an NFC card reading device to detect the presence of a card and with contactless payment that can instantly used before it is blocked. |
