Interesting. But I checked out the US FCC site and couldn’t find any claim about a ‘proven risk’. Rather I found this statement - ‘The FCC has proposed modifying Part 90 of its rules to permit the certification and use of Terrestrial Trunked Radio (TETRA) equipment. TETRA is a spectrally efficient digital technology with the potential to provide valuable benefits to land mobile radio users.’ Admittedly this is from a few years back but I couldn’t find any later statements modifying this position and I did try hard! (Not how I normally spend Christmas Eve though am enjoying a delightful NZ Sauvignon Blanc with my nearest and dearest so that’s okay) |
