| Julian, we were absolutely obsessed with safety when deploying networks. Anything that flagged up the slightest increased risk was taken very seriously indeed. This is why I get thoroughly hacked off with those who complain that mobile phone units and transmitters are dangerous. There is more ionising radiation from a poorly shielded vacuum cleaner than from our mobile phone transmitter; trunked or drilled PMR on the other hand was a whole different ball game and we wouldn't touch it with a barge pole. |
