Janice,if your neighbour has care needs and broadly vulnerable and youy are worried about their personal safety at home,you can approach their local authority for the installation of a personal alarm in case of falls or other emergencies.A landline phone is the traditional way through which the alarm calls out,but a GSM alarm that works on a SIM card,like a normal mobile phone should be available.These alarms also take incoming calls(you can dial into them if you are concerned),where as the landline one cannot take incoming calls. |
