| Thanks for the positive message. In fact, I never went away, as a councillor for Chiswick Gunnersbury ward, and continued responding to residents' and business owners' requests for help - including on the failed EV chargers point which three councillors were involved with: Cllrs John Todd, Ranjit Gill and me. There is an article about this on the home page of chiswickw4.com in which I argue that the council should invest in fast EV chargers, not the much slower lamp post version, because of comments made directly to me by drivers whose experience of these lamp post chargers has been disappointing and frustrating. As so often happens, Paul has picked out words that suit his continuing campaign, not the whole sentence that provides the wider context. I am of course in favour of providing EV charging points but am perplexed about why the council has invested in a version that fails when we have the wrong amount of rain. This not only takes EV chargers out of action but also puts the parking spaces out of action (they can only be used for charging, even if the charging point is out of order). I continue to get complaints about the difficulty of finding parking in Chiswick; campaigning for fast and efficient charging points, releasing parking spaces, responds to those complaints.
