| Thanks for the very informative replies. The problem with a cross pavement ban is that it will significantly reduce demand for EVs in urban areas where they are most needed. Thus far a lot of adoption has been by wealthy motorists who may have off-street charging and or be price-insensitive over on-street charging costs. Has anyone ever tripped and hurt themselves over a properly installed cable across a pavement? I would have thought in most streets in this part of London you would have gone past pavements which are raised to a much greater height. |
