| Like many others, I've often noticed this statue when driving down the A4 towards Hammersmith, but knew nothing about it. It always looked to me as though another plinth or object that it was leaning on had disappeared for some reason, leaving the Leaning Woman leaning on nothing. Interesting to find out more about it. Perhaps a fund could be set up by local residents to finance necessary restoration/repair. I'd contribute. |
