| I'm not sure what the cost would be of setting up Santander docking stations for instance outside Turnham Green and Gunnersbury stations and perhaps near Kew Bridge but I would be pretty confident it would be a tiny fraction of the amount spent on Cycleway 9. It would significantly boost the cost benefit equation of the existing infrastructure as well as providing a significant boost for the riverside economy. Hounslow Council could afford to part fund it. The problem may be that TfL wouldn't agree to a revenue share for local rides where as the e-Bike scheme they are implementing could offer a revenue stream with little up front cost. |
