| Admin, I hope this post is permissible, if not please delete. I am the co-ordinator and a driver for a great charity called Re-engage, formally known as Contact the Elderly. This is a great UK based charity; our aim is to help eradicate loneliness in the elderly, by taking guests (our elderly members) to a tea party, usually on the last Sunday of each month, to the home of a host, who lays on tea, sandwiches and some cake. We as the Hounslow group are desperately short of persons willing to host 6/8 guests inc drivers, a couple of time per year. Essential criteria, is a downstairs loo. If you think that this is something that you would enjoy doing, please get in touch with me. I have been a volunteer driver for this group since June 2011 and can vouch for the fact that you will have a great time hosting a t-party. Thank you. |
