Jeremy, yes, but so what? They're helping to spread accurate information among the Iranian diaspora and into the country.  You can tell it is working because the Iranian government is trying to murder its senior team. Plenty of people said that we shouldn't pay to protect Salman Rushdie from the Iranian government.  That it was his problem because he'd provoked Muslims.  They were wrong.  If they threatened the BBC would we demand they left London to keep us safe? We don't cave into terrorist threats because if we do, they'll just make more.
