With so few users, I wonder where all the rubbish is going" RC: I would guess that the backlog which built up during lockdown, plus the extra summer garden waste, has now been dealt with? PE: "They certainly needed hi-vis bods to direct traffic in the early days of the lockdown, as the queue snaked out into the adjacent streets, getting tangled up with local deliveries, and sometimes backing up Bollo Lane" RC: Fair point. I used it a few times a couple of weeks later, when the need for traffic management was much reduced, hence my 'Not before time' remark. |
