| I agree Silvia. On balance, I think the vast majority are obeying the rules- but even the very small fraction who don't obey the rules, are still risking spreading the virus. I don't feel superior either, anything but. There are no winners in this situation, but as a 30-something, who is used to going to the gym 5 times a week, playing golf, and running 3 times per week, I find it very frustrating that my (and most others) efforts to curtail our lifestyles could be in vain due to the actions of others. The guidelines should be something we try and distance ourselves from as much as possible, i.e. how much can we do to avoid spreading this? Is each trip outside "necessary"? The guidelines should not be viewed as the benchmark or goal to aim for in minimising the inconvenience to our lives. |
