I really feel for you. It happened to us some years ago and I drove around (and walked) from midnight to about 4am. Was just about to call it a night when my lights caught what I thought to be a Tesco bag under a parked car just a few hundred meters from our house. Happy ending as it was our cat, although very distressed and confused, happy to see me. Chances are your pet may be quite close to your house. I still get cold shivers when out cats aren't hovering at dinner time but a few sharp taps on their tin of food with a spoon always gets them charging through the cat-flap. Good luck - don't give up. |
