Yes, posters, and please put on the poster the road/location he went missing from, very often people put posters in vets' windows without putting the area the cat went missing from.  More times than not the cat is within a few streets somewhere so people round about are more likely to look out for it and report it if they know it it is likely to be in their immediate neighbourhood.
