John congratulated Hounslow Council for the NO! poster campaign, and for the quality of many other leaflets. "The campaign is gaining momentum" he said.
He was scathing of the Government's endeavours but didn't swear once! As Tim wrote in his message , John strongly recommended that the way forward was to challenge the Government about it's economic reasons for expansion. Paris , Frankfurt and Amsterdam's expansions hadn't stopped businesses coming to London..so ceasing Heathrow's growth should n't affect London's success.

Finally the Hillingdon lass, Geraldine Nicholson (NOTRAG) was great value and hammered the incompetance of Government information and knowledge..and their inept understanding of the damage to people homes and wellbeing. Shame Mrs Keen MP was a no show to hear the onslaught!
Kathryn Harper-Quinn, talking about the affect of her "Heathrow" neighbours on her children...told some revealing tales. John Stewart (HACAN) told me he had learned a few things himself this evening in Hounslow.
Where were vast majority of Hounslow residents tonight? We mustn't allow the Government to think that they all agree to expansion!
