A warning to all of you, theres is a petite, articulate and well dressed indian woman going around Chiswick conning people out of money. A few months ago she approached me late at night on my way home from work, in a state of distress (she's a good actress) with a sob story that her dad had been rushed to hospital, she couldn't get hold of her partner and she needed to pay for a cab. I naively handed over £10 getting her name, address and phone number off her. Obviously the address and number were false and I never got the money back. I thought nothing more of it until tonight.
My sister opened the front door and the same woman was delivering the same sob story asking for money. My dad, sister and mum were all mid-con when I came into the hallway and saw who it was. Thankfully she didn't get away with it with us this time but she must being trying it on very often with people in Chiswick or she is extrememly unlucky to have got me twice if she's only done her scam in Chiswick twice!
We have now let the police aware of her, although other people may have before us.

If you see her don't be fooled! You don't have to be rude but the police will help her if she had a genuine problem.
