It's certainly not my impression that Grove Park gets any special favours when it comes to street maintenance. The autumn leaves rot into ankle-deep mush and the weeds grow just as high as anywhere else in Chiswick.
I am puzzled by the list of streets listed for a wash and brush-up. For example Fauconberg Road is included while Hazledene Road is not. What are the criteria for qualification I wonder? Or is this just the first tranche in a borough-wide programme? As a potential vote-nudger in the upcoming local elections I would need a rather more substantial inducement! |
