| I walked across Chiswick Back Common twice last Sunday. The parking problems had always been noticeably worse on Antiques market days because there are a high number of small traders who bring cars and mini-vans. While there wasn't space to be had to park, I didn't notice people circling around looking for parking. I also didn't see any traffic wardens. On this basis the revised arrangements seem to be working as they should. What I can't say is that there has been no displacement. The traders vans have to be somewhere in the Chiswick area - perhaps alternative arrangements have been made for them. |
