From this coming Sunday it will not be possible to park for free on streets such as Windmill Road, Elliott Road and parts of Chiswick Common Road. The restrictions which apply on weekdays will now also apply on Sundays mainly to resident bays. So do let people know in order to avoid unwelcome parking tickets this Sunday. Check signs carefully. The restrictions have been brought in after a long three year process as residents found themselves unable to park near their own homes on Sundays. Other streets like Linden Gardens have had similar restrictions for a long time and there are some restrictions in East Chiswick. But there are still several places where free parking is possible on a Sunday in Chiswick. |
