You are right, Mark. The community is in the dark about what exactly is going on which is why one of the calls to action in the petition is for Post Office Ltd to "Provide clear and transparent communication to residents and customers". That includes telling the community when the post office will re-open for business which is what everyone wants to know because of the huge inconvenience caused by the closure.
