| Chiswick Park's listing makes the job a lot more difficult and the station usage might not justify a very expensive project. To my completely untrained eye, putting lifts in at Gunnersbury would be easier than at Turnham Green but there is always added complexity when two agencies (TfL and Network Rail) are involved. Turnham Green will become a much more important hub station if the Piccadilly line service is introduced so it is the logical choice in terms of the number of people with disabilities that would benefit but, as already been hinted at, these things tend to be driven by numerical targets. |
