As a cyclist who will only cycle in permitted places and always stops at red lights (maybe something to do with be old and passing my driving test 50 odd years ago), I ask a question. The wording of the No Entry sign in the Highway Code says "no entry for vehicular traffic". So if I enter the road as a pedestrian pushing my bicycle, and then mount the said bicycle and cycle down that road, am I committing an offence. Just asking for a friend. |
