Very reason I moved away to more tranquil and very rural area. Rarely see any traffic, i'm five miles from nearest shop - out here, you do need transport. On a visit last week, I forgot how chronic Chiswick's traffic was and certainly the cycle lane confusion, silly costly rainbow lines to appease the few.; turning right out from Turnham Grn Terrace onto the high road, I nearly went into the adjacent cycle lane. I was glad to get out of iit that day having lived in Chiswick for 40yrs. It's getting only the extreme wealthy can afford to live there.
