| On a rare visit to the High Road to go to the hairdresser it seemed bleak and quite sad. Thought I'd get a light meal before I went home to save cooking but place I thought about - crepe affaire - now permanently closed so went down to the cinema. They no longer serve food and the place was cold and almost empty. Everywhere else, such as Zizzis, was expensive for just a plate of pasta and glass of wine. Ended up at Pizza Express. Not the High Road it used to be. |
