If it was in a recycling box I would expect it to be taken, but it's hard to be specific. It's best to report things as a missed collection when they happen because a) the operations people will review the CCTV of the wagon to see what happened (not foolproof but usually explains) b) they will identify any service failures and take action to prevent recurrence (usually training) and c) R360 will arrange a remedial collection if warranted. I'm proud of our waste collection service: bar a glitch a couple of weeks ago which caused some delays (but no missed collections) we have provided a full service on all materials throughout the pandemic, something not many councils can boast, whilst keeping our missed collections rate at about half the accepted benchmark. Complaints are pretty low and have gradually decreased over time. Meanwhile we have always paid a minimum of London Living Wage to all staff yet the service is provided at economical cost compared to most operators. |
