Just to repeat the earlier advice. Write to car park company and explain briefly why you don't intend to pay. Don't give them too much detail, just say you visited the store twice on consecutive days and their system is clearly faulty. This is not a council fine so it won't go to an adjudicator. They would have to take you to court, which is extremely unlikely. It is pointless going to Sainsbury's as they don't run the car park but have sub-contracted that to EuroParks who, as parking companies go, are quite reputable. Another reason for believing they'll just rip up the ticket if you write to them. |
