They have now swapped from 27L TO 27R

27L gave you a break, now you have 7 days without a break.

The wind direction is the only break your get. That means that if we go from a westerly to an easterly wind then the planes will land from the west and depart to the north leaving you in piece unless you live out towards ealing and beyond

You need an easterly wind change for them to not come over you into the airport.

Runway alternation and wind direction are two different scenarios altogether
