| Not exactly the same On the odd occasion the bar code won't register, on the odd occasion you think it is scanned and it has not if you use your own Sainsburys app for scanning you loose 4g connection in the far corner of the shop and it won't work, And then once in a blue moon you get your shopping checked as the machine on paying says your shopping needs to be checked and scanned. This happened to me on 4 straight occasions with everything scanned and found to be non-untoward in my shopping. I've slightly given up on the scanning if it is a small shop and I liked to use my own app when covid started but reception failed that idea. Mind you, last week I took two large bags with me to do the shopping and ended up filling them to the brim and I had 5 left soft items that I could not fit in or carry. Could I find a plastic bag, nope, had to wait for someone to ask for a plastic bag. As I had already paid the plastic bag was brought to me and was told its 20p. Ok, but the girl stood waiting until id scanned and paid for the bag. Spend thousands and thousands of pounds in this shop and you get treated like a thief over a 20p plastic bag. I was not amused. |
