Re Claire's point about people giving away personal data on a public forum... Totally agree with her. If anyone's even the slightest bit naïve just keep your details to yourself and splash nothing across social media where devious crooks ARE lurking. To expand on that:- my original plan (no longer being “rolled-out”) was asking folk not to reveal their DOB but their age within a 5 year range. So I doubt that would have posed much of a danger. But remember this - an ambitious villain who is both clever and patient and looking for big rewards, can always get your exact DOB and even your mother's maiden name via inspired use of national records if you give him a heads-up with your name and age. And it gets easier if you throw in your rough address. And (again) if you've got an unusual name it all gets really very easy. Widely used and popular sites like Ancestry.co.uk give access to Birth registers which can be sent for and delivered in a week for £11.00. Same with marriage certificates. Supplying everything a clever con-man needs. It's far easier than many imagine, so keep on your toes... PS:- Claire – suggest you revisit your plan to refuse the jab unless they promise the follow-up within the manufacturers time recommendation. Yes, there are always academics and scientists that don't like Government/political/scientific plans to change things, such as in this case, increasing the time gap. BUT there is a growing wave of absolute alpha/biological opinion that says this plan is not only perfectly sound – but that it also and most likely will, actually increase the eventual level of a patient's immunity. Whatever the case, the one eminent biologist I know personally has totally convinced me that's the case, so I'm going ahead optimistically (provided I survive to get jabbed). |
