Is this the same council that has been denying there was a problem and all that was needed was a 3 minute detour via Goldhawk Road? I guess once Thames Water gave them the bad news about how long the work was likely to take they realised that not even their superpowers could go on denying the blindingly obvious for a month. And remember folks this bit of Acton Lane sees more excavations every year than the Valley of the Kings. The question is - will TGT close again? I suspect difficult questions may have been asked. |
