| Shut up, Ken. You truly are a horse's ass. To Paul's point about profit - wake up. There is no profit being made at any open business other than supermarkets, drug stores, places like Dyas and perhaps even wine stores. Local businesses are fighting for their lives. Holding on as we have been asked so we may save jobs for our staff and do what we can to stabilize the economic fall out on the other side of this storm - an enormous task that is all of ours to bear. In contradiction to the latest government edict, we know of a local business whose landlord asked them to pay their normal rent. One of our staff who has been furloughed was also threatened with eviction. And that's just a few weeks in to this nightmare. Per Kathleen's post on another thread about the Farmer's Market - it is also important to provide the appearance of some normalcy in the absence of it. And what Jo Biddolph did, which Ken took a swipe at, was to help the community understand which traders are open and how their business might be adapting to do something, anything, to keep some cash coming in until aid becomes available. So Ken, how dare you take a political pot shot at that. And I am all to aware that responding to your inanity provides you satisfaction which makes you all the more pathetic to my mind. Step up. If you are man enough. Because that post proved otherwise. |
