I don't know who planted the Cherry trees in Park Road, but it was  Jack Murray who was responsible for planting the trees in Staveley Gardens which were located near to the entrance of the factory.

Jack Murray and his wife Betty lived in Staveley Gardens for 38 years. Both were born in Percy  Terrace next to Hogarth House and backing onto the Chiswick Polish Company.

Jack was a gardener and his wife was in catering. His father Fred Murray was  in the refrigeration and then personnel departments for more than 30 years and was Mayor of Brentford and Chiswick in the 1950s.
