This is a question for Guy Lambert. If you have reluctant "recyclers" close by, what of the assorted boxes and bins is the most important? I'd have thought that recycling food waste was the most profitable item for the Council but these people seem to have stopped bothering with that. They do almost over-fill the plastic box - not too good on rinsing and removing plastic film but better than nothing I presume. Un-crushed cardboard boxes & packaging are in blue box too. So they are trying. Don't feel it's my place to lecture them but wondered if the Council had a leaflet on the importance of recycling food waste that could be dropped through their doors. |
