| Children at all schools behave & occasionally misbehave, in both the state and private sector. I have children in both types of schools, and there is no difference - apart from the fact that some of children at private schools may have more money to spend on drugs. Chiswick school is part of our community and as such has the most children visible in the community. Would people report seeing private school children acting up or being loud? I’ve witnessed this plenty of times, but I guess Chiswick school is an easier target to criticise. The new head teacher has a wonderful positive attitude and drive, a solid handle on the direction the school is fast moving towards and is very open and supportive to students and staff. I’m not at all surprised Mrs Ellener responded so quickly and that she was present in the community after school. My eldest child is thriving at this school. And of course, warnings and education about drugs and safety abound at Chiswick school, just like at any other primary & secondary school. There is no point suggesting a school or the parents are responsible for drug use, be that alcohol, cigarettes or any other drugs. Teenagers make their own choices regardless of what they are taught at home or in school.
