The trouble with condoning with what by today's standards is seen as a minor criminal offence, smoking cannabis, is that the kids offending think that they are above the law and may go on to harder drugs or worse. But by them buying drugs, whether its cannabis or something stronger, it helps fuel the billion £ drugs trade and none of which goes into the UK economy... think about that.

Don't our youngsters need parameters and guidelines rather than a carte blanche and saying that it's ok for them to "do stuff" even when its illegal.

Would parents of children at say, Belmont and St Mary's  schools, be happy or unconcerned if teenagers from another were puffing on joints outside those schools.

Just making some observations
