Heard this morning that Hounslow Council is giving a community centre its marching orders because they want the site for 'affordable' housing, and they might get a smaller premises out of it. This centre is well used and has made a world of difference to the estate it is situated in and the residents are up in arms as you would expect. This council seems to have more in common with Sir Philip Green than Jezza. Disgraceful, they know the cost of everything and the value of nothing. |
