| Carl, you are just too silly to argue with. Regarding Calais, as you know a recent ruling said that we have to take anyone with family in the UK from Calais and this is happening. But, dunderhead, as you well know, we have no control over anyone LEGALLY in Europe. The people in Calais have gone through multiple countries where they could and should have claimed asylum and where they would have been granted it if they had been eligible because they want to get to Britain. Most of them are not eligible for asylum and are in Calais illegally. But many of those are getting through to the UK - andas well as all those who are legally entitled to come because they have EU papers. Once the agreement with Turkey is ratified, that will include millions more. It is very sad that you don't understand this - or pretend not to, and yet people like you have a vote. |
