I once did an alpha course,at Christchurch. We divided into groups of people who were not learned theologians and therefore could not answer any of my questions. They were however nice people and said they quite enjoyed having someone put questions to the group which they themselves had never themselves considered. It certainly did not convert me to Christianity, but the food was good, and the people friendly and entitled to their beliefs.
