| I am sorry to hear of this - you have my sympathies too. We were burgled at the end of November and the police advised that CCTV can be a more effective deterrent than an alarm. I purchased a 4 camera system from Maplins for £260. Installing it can be a DIY job, though running the cables around the outside of the house is tedious. But if you need help you don't need an electrician - a handyman for the cabling will do. |
