Yes. Dementia and Diabetes are the result of nutritional imbalances rather than diseases.
Excessive production of advanced glycation end products (AGE)disturbs the neuronal connections of the brain (dementia)causing amyloid plaques and neurofibral tangles.
Dementia is 500% more common in people with diabetes.

Todays bread is nothing like the old fashioned wheat/barley/rye/spelt that the body has adapted too since the Agricultural revolution..
This has been hastened by the USA cloning franken foods such as genetically modified dwarf wheat for business rather than health reasons..
Its complicated but the research on this is well documented.
