I thought it was bizarre to say the least that BBC's tribute to those involved in sport who had died in 2015 omitted Jimmy Hill, was he really omitted or was it the case that he was mentioned separately to the musical tribute ? (I didn't want the rest of SPOTY). Didn't even know Alan Lee had died at the weekend until I saw him on the tribute - awful news. And then I find out today that my footballing hero Pavel Srnicek is critically ill at 47 :-( Don't get me started on the subject of Fury. Yes he can box but he's nothing like the calibre of former champions and Klitschko only woke up when he was far too far behind on the scorecards. As for his personal views, given Martin Brundle had to apologise for using a certain word on F1 coverage, I think it's best I keep my views about Fury to myself. |
