For anyone who would like to see photos of Mabel and Pretzel, whose recent operations were kindly paid for by donations from people including those on this forum, please do look at the HAWs' Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/HounslowAnimalWelfareSociety/ Or the Richmond Vet's Facebook Page https://www.facebook.com/Richmond-Vets-203731426429387/?fref=photo Both of them are doing very well. Mabel has been getting to know her new foster carer's dog and resident cat - the dog has been particularly interested in her, in a very gentle way! Pretzel has had his lower eyelids cut and stitched so that his eyelashes no longer point into his eyes and his corneal ulcer has healed in a few days. Healing in a 14 week old kitten is very quick! He's much more comfortable. Both Mabel and Pretzel will be available for adoption when they are fully healed, along with all the other animals HAWs have in foster care. If you are interested in adopting, please do go to the HAWs website and apply on the online form for a home check. Please note we don't adopt out animals this close to Christmas as we don't wish for people to be giving an animal as a Christmas day gift without making sure they have thought it through or making sure the recipient has thought it through properly. However, you would be able to put a chosen animal on hold with a deposit, for adoption in the New Year. |
