It doesn't matter what the regulations state, they will leave the board there as long as they can get away with it.Some time back, the house next to ours was up for sale.Long after it had been sold, the sign was still there.It was attached to the gatepost, but that gatepost belonged to our property.I rang the estate agent and asked them to remove it.They ignored that.So I rang them again and said if it wasn't removed, I would charge them rent for the space.At that point, the manager started shouting and swearing at me.So that night, I cut down the board, drove up to the estate agents, and posted the wooden post through their letterbox.I then hammered it in good and tight.I hope it took them ages to remove it the next morning.They wouldn't have been able to open their door until they got it out.
