Philippa, we have used a care agency, via Hounslow Council, for about 8 months, and the services of a District Nurse (off and on) for about 5 years, and still do. I appreciate that your requirements are greater than ours, but I must say we have not experienced any real problems with either. I think we have about 3/4 different carers, and perhaps 5/6 nurses.
The agency notes are thorough, and written up after every visit (twice a week), and the nurses always seem to do a good job.
