| Diwali will be a spectacular sight if you can get to a lofty viewpoint. The skies above Hounslow, Heston, Cranford, and Southall will be a sea of wonder on Wednesday.... honest... and I'm looking forward to the event... The Hindu festival of light. I asked a neighbour if he was looking forward to the event... and he said a big no. "I'm a Muslin". Officially... the end of the noise is suppose to be 1am. but there's no chance of that happening .It honestly reminds me of living in Chiswick during World War 2 but I enjoy Diwali. The west of the Borough was pretty dead on Guy Fawkes night. |
