The ongoing saga of my daughter's possible house purchase - her adviser seems to be able to get her more money from one of the High Street banks than she can get by filling in their online forms and I am curious to understand how this works.  I am not knocking it, she would be in trouble if she could only get what she is being offered but I just don't get it.
