| I've found them to be very good and a reassuring presence. They're very watchful and we can stop and tell them if we have seen or know of something which may not be serious enough to go and queue up at a police station if it's open. They know the area and many of the people in it and like to stop for a chat about local things., passing on information to the police if need be and advising on various issues. If I've seen someone or something suspicious but not obvious enough to send for a police car they've watched out. They're there for safer neighbourhoods and I'm always pleased to see them. They know where the trouble spots are and patrol on foot. It's good to be able to mention something to them and get it sorted out before it becomes serious. |
