The response from the police is a bit bizarre (see front page item). It isn't really acceptable that they send armed police down a quiet residential street and give no indication of what it was all about. This is only likely to lead to anxiety on the part of residents that there is some kind of unresolved danger in their midst. That said the police's lack of comment is probably down to them cocking up and raiding the wrong address.
